Myo Sanctuary :

A return to living awareness

Myo Sanctuary was born from a simple yet profound intention:
to bring people back from mind to heart.

In a world that is becoming faster, smarter and more efficient, we are slowly losing something essential: the ability to truly feel, to be fully present, and to genuinely connect.

Myo is a remembrance.
Of what we have always been, beneath the noise.

Myo means to open

Myo stands for opening, renewing and restoring.
Not as a method, but as an experience.

An opening of awareness.
An opening of the body.
An opening of connection.

No performance. No perfection.
Only a return to what is already alive.

From mind to heart

Many of us live primarily through thinking, planning and controlling.
We call it efficiency. Progress. Success.

Yet somewhere along the way, distance arises:
from ourselves, from others, from the body, from life itself.

Myo Sanctuary brings people back to the feeling human being.
From Homo Economicus — the calculating human — to Homo Ludens — the playing, sensing, living human.

Everything is relationship

In my work, one insight has become central:

World peace is the person sitting across from you.

What we experience outside of us begins in how we are present within the moment.
In how we look, listen and feel.

In the Buddhist principle of Esho Funi, this becomes clear:
you and your environment are not separate. You are one interconnected reality.

When something shifts within you, the world around you shifts as well.

Becoming the sun

During my journeys through Japan, Cuba, Indonesia, the United States and various European cities, I witnessed the same human longing everywhere:
peace, connection and authenticity.

In Eindhoven — a city of technology, knowledge and design — this longing became especially present for me.

A teacher once said to me:

“If you miss something, create it yourself.
Be the sun yourself.”

These words became the foundation of Myo Sanctuary.

What Myo stands for

Myo Sanctuary is not a place of self-improvement.
It is a place of return.

from survival → to feeling
from control → to presence
from separation → to connection
from thinking about life → to living life

For whom

Myo is for those who live strongly in their minds.
For those who carry much, give much, understand much — yet sometimes lose themselves in the speed of life.

Expats. Thinkers. Creators. Seekers.
People who are ready to land back into themselves.

Myo is not a method

Myo is a remembrance.

Of the silence beneath thought.
Of the warmth beneath tension.
Of the connection that was never truly lost.

Return to life

Myo Sanctuary is an invitation.
Not to become something more.

But to become fully here.
